I was overwhelmed on my first photo-journalistic trip to Beijing this April 2006 with the beauty of it's citizens and the startling humility I felt in the greatness of China. With all it's turmoil and confusion I found a serenity that only the ancients respected in daily life, that is, Source. I am now working on a Beijing portrait book entitled HEAVEN AND EARTH, paying tribute to this great city.
