China from China Town, Sydney

Colourful, busy, noisy. Filled with funny cats with cheesy smiles waving with one arm, cutesy toys, delicious food and mysterious herbal medicines. Its fun, whimsical, a long way from stuffy and conservative, but rich with tradition and culture. One moment I'm in the heart of the Sydney business centre, with its greyness and suits and the next I'm in the visually vibrant and fantastic China Town! Better still is that people there are just going about their business, mostly Chinese, with the odd whitey like me having a spot of yum cha :-)
