This group of works developed from my visit to Hong Kong and China in the summer of 1997.

In this series "Impressions from Hong Kong", I incorporated the South China Morning Post newspaper clippings with clippings from a Hong Kong Newspaper. The idea was to capture Hong Kong during the tense summer of 1997 at the time of succeeding to China.

After pasting the newspapers images, I painted with acrylic paint and inks.
